Internship opportunities are always available for college and law school students with the Investigative staff.  Internships can be used for course credit or on a volunteer basis.  Interns will shadow the Investigators working on traffic, misdemeanor, and felony cases.  They may watch court proceedings, perform legal research, and accompany the Investigators in the field.  The Office has enacted an Intern Policy which includes a strict confidentiality clause. Applicants must be currently enrolled in either college or law school.  Applications are reviewed on a first come, first serve basis, as there are only three (3) positions available per semester.  Priority will be given to previous interns who left the Office in good standing.

If interested, please mail your resume and letter of intent to MIchael J. Renzi, Public Defender.
